New way to offer services          ID card          Resident card         Birth certificate         Death certificate

The civil register issues death certificates for Omani citizens here and abroad. As for the Omani citizen residing outside the Sultanate, he can record a death through Oman's embassies and consulates in brotherly and friendly countries. In the past, the death certificate was issued by the Ministry of Health and registered in its records. In the meantime, the certificate is recorded in the system of the civil register and issued by the Royal Oman Police to avoid any duplication of extra security measures to protect it from fraud and forgery.
