General Instructions
  1. The electronic gates service is given for Omani citizen and foreigner residing in Oman and holding resident card who are (Investor, General Manager, executive managers, and Member on Board of Director.
    2.  

  2. The service is granted to AGCC nationals who hold Omani Residence card valid for one year or more from the date of application. 
     
  3. The service is given to the expatriate businessmen, who are investors, member of board of directors or managers, and whose firms are of the excellent class or above.
     
  4. The identity card/Resident card must be valid for one year or more from the date of application.

  1. An applicant’s passport must be valid for one year or more from the date of application.
     
  2. An application form may be obtained from:
     
    • Any civil status directorate, filled in manually, then either sent by fax or by hand delivery to the Directorate General of Civil Status.
       
    • By downloading from the Directorate of Civil Status site: www.civilstatus.gov.om then filled in manually and sent by fax.
       
    • The form can also be filled in electronically, and sent by e-mail. Click here to view the slide show
       
  3. Royal Oman Police may stop the electronic gates service at anytime without giving any reasons.
